The product name EM7 was originally derived from the seven management disciplines it addressed. Given ScienceLogic's continual innovation and product maturation, the name no longer reflects the broad set of monitoring and management capabilities it now supports. In 2012, ScienceLogic stopped marketing EM7 as the product brand.
