Maximize your EM7 investmentIt’s a fact: times are challenging, and most companies are looking for ways to do more with less. The good news is that ScienceLogic customers can save money from the start. Example: One customer switched to EM7 and saved over $200K in annual maintenance fees versus the Big 4 tools they were using.

But the savings don’t have to stop there. Because of our “no modules” philosophy, every customer gets the whole EM7 enchilada – regardless of whether or not they use it all on day one. So if you’re not using some parts of the very comprehensive EM7 functionality, say for asset management, ticketing, or virtualization management, this would be a great time to assess if you should. You already own EM7 so the more it can replace, the more you can avoid new expenses and maintenance fees. And best of all, you’ll look like a hero and these days, every company needs a hero.

EM7 Customers Make the Deloitte Fast 50

image of HughesNet satellite

We’re delighted to share that four ScienceLogic customers – Apptix, Hughes, Merkle and Sourcefire – have made Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 for Maryland and Virginia. Hughes Communications tops the Maryland list with a five-year growth rate of 138,762% - no, that’s not a typo – and we expect to see them on the national rankings, out any day now.

Fast-growing organizations can’t afford to waste time or resources – they automate and use technologies that enable growth. EM7 provides efficiencies that allow each of these winners to focus on their business and we hope that EM7 has been a small factor in helping them achieve success. Congratulations to each of you!

Good Times for MSPs

the future looks bright for msp'sWhile businesses look to maintain or cut IT spending in the current economy, a recent Network World story outlines why MSPs may be immune to the economic slowdown and may actually see an increase in business. Since IT work needs to move forward (with the same or fewer headcount), organizations are looking to MSPs to provide mission-critical services as a fixed budgetable expense. Read how EM7, originally designed with MSPs in mind, allows our service provider customers to quickly and cost-effectively scale their monitoring capabilities as their customer base grows.
