Application

Keep your business-critical applications up and running.

Your business users may know nothing about servers and networks, but they know when their mission-critical application slows or goes down. If you have key business applications that must be always available and running at peak performance, ScienceLogic has the ideal IT monitoring solution.

Web Application Monitoring Dashboard - EM7 Platform

Automate monitoring of all the components that make up application service delivery.
Get a complete view of application health.
Manage performance and view metrics with out-of-the-box or customized policies.

ScienceLogic provides an application monitoring dashboard and management system in a single solution – covering all the infrastructure components that make up application service delivery. From the applications themselves to the correlating database, network, and storage resources, and the physical or virtual servers and OS on which the applications run, ScienceLogic gives you a complete picture of application availability, performance, and risk, and in accordance to your service level agreements and business policies.

ScienceLogic uses a variety of monitoring methods (including web response, actual transactions, and database queries) to collect detailed application metrics. To build a comparable solution on your own would require integrating multiple point solutions or framework modules – a complex, costly, and lengthy exercise – and unnecessary with ScienceLogic.

Automation and simplification are the keys to the ScienceLogic solution. ScienceLogic automatically applies best-practices-based management templates for leading applications (email, collaboration, VoIP, spam, and video conferencing). You can immediately start monitoring and get necessary metrics and reporting. You can also customize management templates for your business's own homegrown applications, as well as business-specific policies and service levels.

Customize your application monitoring.

Additional application availability monitors for web content verification policies, web transaction monitoring, and the like, can be easily set up through the standard interface. For more advanced and custom application monitoring, users can create their own management templates to collect key performance and availability metrics using a variety of data collection methods – including SNMP, SOAP/XML, SQL and dynamic application snippets, which allows for the use of custom scripts for multi-step/multi-processing data collection or non-standard access.
