Sr. Director of Demand Generation


What we’re looking for…

As the Sr. Director of Demand Generation, you are accountable for ScienceLogic’s growth engine and pipeline.  You are part artist and part data scientist.  You thrive on innovation applied to marketing and blazing new trails armed with analytical insight.  Demand generation is for those who are savvy using the latest tools to get a deeper understanding of our customers and subsequently map effective GTM strategies from it.  You love technology and have a desire to understand our technology and how customers buy.  This is a role for those who exhibit a passion for using marketing as a growth engine for ScienceLogic. 


What you’ll be doing…

  • Accountable for designing, building and optimizing a high volume and high-quality demand funnel through digital marketing and lead generation efforts
  • Accountable for creating a marketing database strategy to engage prospects higher in the funnel thru nurture and acceleration programs
  • Oversee global and regional digital marketing efforts including Adwords, social advertising, SEO, remarketing and community marketing
  • Lead ABM efforts for SL’s top target accounts and partners incorporating a partnership with
  • Lead ScienceLogic’s presence at both national and local field events to increase demand generation and accelerate pipeline
  • Responsible for managing the BDR, Sales and Marketing relationship for program communication, lead process and follow-up
  • Accountable for tracking success metrics and pipeline contribution from all marketing programs
  • Drive program performance through a results-driven approach, both in existing channels and by experimenting with new lead generation channels, techniques and messaging 
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content at different stages of the lead and pipeline funnel.
  • Provide strong leadership, team development, coaching & overall group strategy
  • Manage the demand generation budget and forecast spend on an ongoing basis

Qualities you possess…

  • 10+years of B2B software marketing experience with 4+ years in a demand generation management role ideally in SaaS ITOM/cloud or related technology
  • BS with MBA highly desirable
  • Superior communication skills, creative and innovatively focused on building high quality campaigns and pipeline
  • Expertise in leading and developing high-growth demand gen organizations
  • Demonstrated history of being a hands-on manager
  • Deep knowledge of best practices in B2B SaaS Marketing and global lead generation with a heavy emphasis on goal measurement, analytics and process
  • Skilled in marketing automation software
  • Knowledge and experience in scaling and growing technology firms
  • Preferred location in Reston, VA
